The Entrance Game for ages 13 and UP

ACTING GAME

FOR AGES 13 AND UP

ENTRANCE GAME

How to play

1) Start with students finding a partner and sitting for instructions.

2) Each pair is given an entrance to perform using the suggestions below or make up your own. This must be kept secret.

3) Students raise their hands when they are ready for a turn.

4) Choose the first pair of students and quietly instruct them, without the audience hearing, how to enter the stage.

5) The audience give actors the cue, “AND ACTION!” to begin each turn.

Notes:
The actors enter as instructed, after a few moments the “FREEZE!” cue is given and the audience guesses the action.

When the correct answer is given, ask students on stage to bow and sit down as the audience applauds. After each pair has had a turn the game is complete.
